To remember fondly...

Here you will find the website headers and notes from the artists who created them. The life span of a FreeLithiumPicnic.com banner is one week. After that, they may be viewed here....

"Art is like a Benevolent Master. When the creative urge is served the
rewards are many and great. When ignored the pain is deep. I have been
sewing since the1960's. I created costumes for my sister's Barbie dolls.
I began to professionally design in the early 1980's. My Artistic
journey has had many ups and downs all of which have led me to the
formation of new ideas and inspirations. When I think about the idea of
someone blocking my RIGHT to create, to serve my Master, I shudder.
There is no greater Horror than an artist being blocked from letting the

creativity out of his soul. Please, Free Lithium Picnic."

By: The Heather

I am (The) Heather. I've managed to survive for 21 years with my high risk lifestyle. It's confusing, but usually good for an amusing story.  I'm a body piercer, model, and bartender.  I have violent tendencies (because I think it's sexy and fun), love art, the drink, and pin up girls.  I believe good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which to die.  Every day, I do something nice for a random stranger. Usually, that nice thing is *not* hitting them with my car, no matter how much they deserve it. They never know how grateful they should be to still be alive.  In my spare time (ha! what a joke), I work on cars, read more than is healthy, watch more B movies than any sane person should be able to stand, and avoid sunlight like it's the plague.  I prefer sitting at the dam with a bottle of whiskey at 4am to a pina colada at sunset while walking the beach.

One day about 5 years ago I saw something amazing. Something that made my jaw drop, my brain misfire, and my drink land on my boots.  I'm fairly certain that I stared for about 20 minutes before I realized my feet were getting very cold and sticky.  The work of Lithium Picnic still does that to me if I haven't braced myself first.  I believe in artistic freedom. The right, the ability, the sheer talent needed to create an image that makes you forget to breathe doesn't belong to anyone. It's not something you can teach. $G can sue LP's pants off, but they can't buy talent, and I'm all for helping buy his new pants while he sticks it to the man.

I won't encourage you to burn down $G's corporate headquarters, because that's illegal, and I might be considered an accomplice, but I WILL encourage to you to Support Lithium Picnic.

My name is Stephen Hoinkes. I'm 22 and live in the grand city of Toronto, Ontario.I'm a freelance artist; mainly tattoo design and illustration. I'm also a dull time spaz.

I model part time for dun and to showcase different fashion that I enjoy immensely. I'm going tosi college for art, design, then fashion design. I'm dipping my hand into graphic design because I always like to learn new skills. It also allows me to do more with my art than is possible with just a pencil and paper....I also get jealous of everyone's beautiful art (what can I say, I'm competitive like that)

Other than art and working I go clubbing every weekend and have started doing stand up comedy during open mic nights in Toronto. (I like to stay well rounded without alll the Oprah-like eating binges.)

I'm doing this to support Lithium Picnic and Apnea. I enjoy their work immensely and I feel what $G is doing to them is petty and childish. So I'd like to help-and bring attention to the hardships that have befallen them-through whatever means I can.
